Sorry for the delay in reply....
Michael rang yesterday--Yesterday was the date he was to be deported but a judge agreed to extend the time so a 'stay' could be filed. If the stay is granted, it will buy them time to get more money and people on board in order to get Homeland Security to look at his case.
It is a day to day thing from this point forward--no word on how long the judge will give them to file a stay--or if it will be successful.

As to the writing site, you only have to register to be able to read stuff. It only costs if you become a writing member because then you'll be able to take part in the work shopping.
The cost is very LOW and well worth the amazing amount of feedback you'll get.
My pen name on there is Linda Lee, you will see one of my novels posted. It's not all up yet because I am work shopping it on the site.
Let me know what you choose as a pen name. |
